The website developer role is primarily aimed at creating new websites for our clients, creating new features and performing ongoing maintenance to keep sites at the cutting edge of modern development.
Because the skillset of a website developer is fundamentally the same as a software developer you will have opportunities to work on other projects that cover a wider range of technologies than just website development.
A self-efficacious personality is the most important trait to working at Royal Wares, we treat you as the expert in your field and have a hands-off approach to management. What this means is we won't micro manage you and how effective you are in your role is within your control. This working style is most beneficial to people who like to find their own answers and are motivated to make things happen.
Our expectation for you to be self reliant does not mean you will be alone, we will be there to give you support, access to other teams and the best tools in our industry to empower you to achieve.
Our number one commitment is always to our clients first, this means we prioritise getting work completed both on time and to a high quality. We do not cut corners to meet deadlines, instead we put all hands on deck to work together.
We have some preferred experience, but these are not requirements. You can either have the experience, knowledge or awareness of the items on the list.
The list above loosely covers the day to day technology we are likely to use, although we don't stick to any particular set of technology, we will always pick whichever technology stack is right for the specific project.
We hope that you find our approach to a working life respectful and desirable. If this sounds like somewhere you would like to work please apply and even if the job role isn't exactly what you are after apply anyway and just talk to us about it.
